Get you hand free - Grabbed on either side

If you can't get your hands free from an enemy, you can't do much at all.  You can't block an incoming blow.  You can't draw your weapons.  You can't stop him from drawing his weapons.

If you can't get your hands free, you will die.  He owns you.

These two techniques will work EVERY.  SINGLE.  TIME.

It doesn't matter how big or small you may be.  It doesn't matter if you are standing or sitting.  It doesn't matter if you are an 80 pound girl or a 300 pound muscleman.  By the end of every CQB class, every single one of my fellow Patriots can get his hands free.  It is a sine qua non.  Everything depends on your ability to free your hands.
